I'm a sucker for greasy-spoon diners and hip coffee houses. When I used to play music professionally these were the places that really made a long tour more fun and adventurous. You get see a part of the city that not many tourists see or even want to. Here's a list that I'm compiling of some the hard-to-find, funky places that I find on these trips.
